Swami,

Thanks for the beautiful photographs. When Adiyen visited the temple in Jan, 2006 there was no greenery and around the temple it was just barren land. Glad to see that things since then have improved. Adiyen has fond remembrances of the temple. We (my parents and I) visited Kanchipuram for a one day trip and by the time we had completed darshanams at some of the temples, it was all ready past 12:30PM (the usual closing time for temples). We still went to Parameshwara Vinnargaram with the expectation that we could atleast touch the temple wall and feel ourselves to be blessed. Lo and Behold! when we reach the temple at around 1:30, we find it to be still open. The next day being Vaikunta Ekadasi... the temple was open for preparations. Truly it was perumal's desire to grant us Darshanam that enabled this.

The temple itself was very beautiful, although in a dilapidated state. The sculptures clearly indicate the work of sculptors from the Pallava period.

The temple is a three storyed structure. The darshanam of perumals in upper two stories can be had only on ekadasi days (not sure about this).
